Residence Inn by Marriott Indianapolis Plainfield

“Pros - THERESA!! If you've been to the hotel that's all I need to say. If you haven't, she is the jewel piece of the Plainfield Residence Inn. 9 out of 10 people that we interacted with were good representatives of the hotel but Theresa went above and beyond with her customer service. We stayed for a week and she was there every day with a smile on her face and asking what she could do to make your stay better. She's an asset to the Marriott brand. The location is great, near lots of stores and restaurants. The hotel common areas were very clean however this brings me to my list of cons. Cons - While our room was generally clean, the floors were very dirty. We wore our shoes the whole time. The room we stayed in was on the first floor and I kept having to catch and flush those mini millipede like creatures from the bathroom and kitchen floors. I don't know if it was just our room or a design flaw in the hotel, but our bathroom did not have a working vent blowing in cool air or an exhaust fan removing steam and hot air so the bathroom got very hot even if you were just taking a warm shower or standing in there doing your hair with the lights on. Having said all that, my husband travels a great deal and has said he will be staying there going forward when he comes to Indianapolis.”

“Excellent place. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Great bed and at walking distance of several stores and restaurants. Service is good, checking in and out is extremely easy.”

“Everything in this hotel is new, clean and in working order. Had a very nice stay here.”

“Very clean. The staff was professional and helpful. Breakfast was good. The pool was clean bathroom close to them as well. Room had everything we needed plus more, close to movie theater, Walmart, the mall and a lot of other places including food place as wel.”

“Great location-fresh new hotel! Nice lobby and clean rooms. Breakfast was good above average-waffle makers and eggs and such. Elizabeth at the front desk was a joy to work with! She was so welcoming and happy! She greeted everyone! Manager get her a raise! Would definitely stay here again. Close to shopping and restaurants .”

“Been staying at this hotel every time I traveled to Indy, always had a great time, people at the front desk have been nothing less than amazing. And then I encountered Robin, the middle aged women with colered red hair and sparkly black extensions… what a piece of work, can someone please explain hospitality to this lady and maybe suggest a diet because seeing her devour a bag full of burgers gave me nightmares.”
